What is in the range

• Nitra Chakki Fresh Atta in 5 kg and 10 kg packs: whole wheat flour ground the traditional chakki way.
• Nitra Besan (Gram Flour) in 500 g and 1 kg packs: finely milled from chana dal.

How to choose

Atta is whole wheat flour for Indian flatbreads. It takes up water well, so the dough stays soft and rotis puff on the tawa. Besan is chickpea flour, not wheat: use it for pakora batter, chilla, kadhi, dhokla and ladoo. For soft rotis, knead atta with warm water to a soft dough and rest it for 20 minutes before rolling.
