Method

Toast the fennel
Dry-roast the fennel seed in a small pan over low heat for 2–3 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Cool
Let the toasted fennel cool completely.

Mix in the mint and mishri
Combine the cooled fennel with the crushed mint leaves and mishri.

Store
Keep in a small airtight jar.

Serve
Offer a spoonful after meals as a traditional mouth freshener.
